After encouragement from my family and friends I opened an Etsy shop. I still have to do a lot. First change some pictures, they are too dark, how hard is to photograph in this country? Second: more tags, descriptions etc. Third: add more items I have...
But for now it's 1.41am...!!! and I should go to sleep. But what do you think of it ??? suggestions, advice, comments...please..

another dream list

14 September 2009

I was doing some serious shopping last couple of days:) to be more honest I have bought few items but now have a long wish list. From very very soft slippers to a very very designer lamp. But I would be fine with these slippers for now. And the lamp ? is 180 cm high, designed by Wales -based Freshwest and put together with mathematical precision. Each oak section is fitted together with notches and pegs, while two cast -iron parts enable its Anglepoise -like movement. What do you think of it ?

the wedding

27 August 2009

The preparation started probably 1.5 year ago. My friend A. started to have ideas, loads of ideas, and more and more. I got involved around 6 months ago. So we had ideas together, e mailed a lot, talked a lot, searched a lot. She did a brilliant job. Everything was very detailed, booklets for church had same cover as the paper on the floor, three types of favors according to nationality and sex :), perfect life music...the list is endless. This is the preparation stage. It was hard work, we had to prepare the whole room (120 people upstairs and downstairs room for children) by four people. Plates, candles, flowers, table cloths, glasses and the FOOD PYRAMID....what do you think of it ?
It all started in church at 2.30 pm.
and continued in a castle in the evening.
and all ready. Just run around and lit all the candles....
live music, 6 courses, wine, cheese, long night....
And that was it. Hot long summer evening. Wedding of my best friend. Day to remember. I do like weddings. What about you ?

our french holiday

2

After couple of days washing and generally doing boring housework I finally found the time to blog about our holiday. We went to France to be with our friends for nine days. It was great. They live in South West of France and their family owns a huge farm with couple of gites. They rent them out as holiday homes so we had one for ourselves. It's fantastic house with four huge bedrooms, living space , big garden and private swimming pool. It was hot all week. Very very hot..but the main reason for us to be there was their wedding !!! Big long French wedding. I mean very long..:) the dinner started at 9.30pm, the main course was served at 0.30am and the dessert half past 2 in the morning :). But no complain at all. It was fantastic to be part of it. We had great fun. This is the house and our bedroom.
The swimming pool. It was hot hot hot... But why does the weather has to be so rubbish every time I come back from holiday ??? is it just me ?
The market. The quality of food is fantastic. I really envy that. I would love to have the possibility to buy local fresh fruit and veg on my doorstep.
and it was hot again...
I just want to say thank you to my friend Audrey for inviting us. So thanks Aud. :).... You can rent the house here La Maison Veiile. Next time I'm blogging about the grand wedding and the preparation !
