I feel like I'm slowly becoming British and talk about weather all the time. But how awful! It's middle of June and it's cold and rainy, I saw people wearing boots and winter coats today. Just so....whatever..
So in that really grey and depressing mood and weather I love to find images like this. I saw the first photo a while ago and loved it straight away. I'm not into orange that much but who wouldn't love that dress? I certainly do. And they look so happy, relaxed...and cool. But let's not ruin a nice evening with my moaning. have a good one!...The full wedding story over here.

And have you noticed my new design? thank you so much Ana from Blog Milk.

On Saturday Anya had a quite big birthday party. Initially we invited few people but in the end everyone turned up and we had at one point 21 children and 40 adults in the house. A. had amazing time with all her friends. We booked a kids entertainer, which was great with that amount of children, ate lovely food, and even the weather was perfect. We made the pompoms last week together and I think I might keep them there for a bit. So optimistic. She got a t-shirt from Bob & Blossom with number 4, which she proudly wore in the morning before changing into a party frog. She was given some fantastic presents from her friends and I bought her this really cute handmade bear. She now calls it Cliffi.

for the love of sport

Or shall I say for the love for my man I created couple months ago this poster. Unfortunately M. can't play rugby anymore due to an injury but its still his passion or shall I say obsession? So as football and cricket....I get annoyed with him so much checking scores on his phone while I try to have conversation with him. But hey I have this space, pinterest, flickr etc. and spend probably much more time reading others people blogs.
The poster comes in five colours and you can chose rugby, football, cricket and golf.  I chose witty and famous quotes from each chosen sport. The quotes used are from famous names of sport, literature and entertainment including : Mark Twain, Dean Martin, Elizabeth Taylor, Oscar Wilde, Bobby Charlton, Richard Harris, William Wordsworth, Richard Burton, Nick Hornby and many more...
We have been selling them only here with international delivery included. Wouldn't that be good Father's Day present?

party for A.

A. is turning 4 next week and we are throwing a party for her. Last three years we had smaller family parties or bigger barbecues, but it was more for us really. As she started preschool this year she can invite more friends and have proper kids fun. I really want to make it special for her so I have been thinking about themes and decorations. And in the end there won't any  theme as she had hard time to decide between pirates or fairies, I will stick to loads of entreating bits and pieces, and have fun with decorations.
I collected these images to be inspired by colours, which is going to be yellow, pale pink, bluey greeny colours. There is so many great ideas out there and if only I had more time, I would love make those lolly invitations, bake cloud shaped cookies, make cakes ...the list would go on.
So far I made these invitations (the last photo) and thinking about presents. Any recommendations for 4 year old girl? she is not massively into dolls, she loves creating, painting, drawing, climbing trees, reading and swimming.

Put a cat in a photo and I want to live there. Very simple. Plus being in NY and having those dining chairs and table would be a good addition as well. full house tour here.

Nikole from Herriot Grace started  a new series on her blog called for the love of pie. As you might have noticed from my posts I'm not a huge cook but its one of the things I would like to change this year. I tell myself its because of lack of time but honestly it's all about prioritising.
First of the guest series on Nikole's blog is from Nathan & Katie Williams. They are couple behind Kinfolk Magazine and remind me very much my sister and her partner and also my friend Aud. In my eyes they are people who enjoy cooking (my sisters boyfriend is a wonderful baker:), live in smaller moments, and mainly have something very calm about them. I aspire that very much as I feel I'm constantly running somewhere, being impatient and restless.
Head over here to find how to bake this apple pie.
have a good day!

Couple of days ago I came across this great blog - paislee press and few things that caught my eye over that space was - DIY book covers and a book called Mini Masterpieces.
When it comes to DIY book covers, I know that not many of us probably have time or energy to do it, but I think these simple b&w covers and ribbon labels looks really pretty. Perhaps just cover the "ugly" books? like dictionaries, or really colourful books? head over here if up to this project.
Mini masterpieces is a photo book or in this case with pictures of drawings and projects your child made. I know my daughter would love it and me too...definitely doing it when she gets a bit older and have more drawings. Wouldn't that be great gift for grandparents?

Sun is out, it feels like summer, finally. We ate a full box of cherries with A. today and baked cherry muffins. 6 muffins + pint of milk + me + my daughter + 1/2 hour = nothing left. Shame on me, going for run in the morning....

for little B.

Yesterday I finished one of these for a little B. A lady ordered large little stars in grey for her newborn niece. With a date, time, weight and measurement written in hearts I think it makes a beautiful gift for new mums and would look lovely in a child nursery...
