NY

2 November 2011

We are off to NY on Friday. M. is running his 4th marathon there and I'm going to support him, plus do a bit of shopping and basically having a holiday. I went to New York only once before, so any last minute ideas? Cool restaurant, bars? places not to miss? also I would like to see a bit of outside Manhattan, Brooklyn etc. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated:)

  1. Do you have the book A stylists guide to NYC by Sibella Court? Lots of great suggestions in there. Have fun! xxx

  5. What about a Jazz Band? I like Jazz Standard Club on 27th St. Best jazz and very affordable.

My favorite place for a coffee - or an ice cream soda too - is Caffe Reggio in Greenwhich. Walking around there is great too.

And for a nice lunch with a nice view too, try the Bryant Park Grill. Reasonable price too for what it is.

Well, all this, if you can take an advice from a Spaniard :-)
    Hope you enjoy the trip.

  6. Welcome!! Come to Brooklyn. Go to Atlantic Ave and stroll the blocks of antiques and specialty shops. Visit Dumbo and Williamsburg - 2 of my favorite neighborhoods. Have fun :)
