A while back I was given these women's wellies . They do really optimistic boots, stripy, with flowery patters or elegant ones satin bows at the back. Sweet. Who would think I would be using my ones in May but the weather is so unpredictable and still rainy and cold that I put them on again today while doing  a bit of gardening on a late Friday afternoon. I have been sitting by the desk so much this week I needed to clear my head. I'm planning a long walk tomorrow so I might be using them again.

PS: I also fancy the yellow ones with blue stripes or their nautical jacket. All from Joules. One has never enough of rain proof clothes in UK....

For me is khaki jacket, skinny jeans, chunky scarf, trainers or my favourite husdon boots. And anything by this people. Also this shop and this one  have lovely stuff I spotted recently.

My mind and body needs a break. I'm getting on plane tonight and flying to spend some time with my family. I need to recharge badly and have some time away from my desk. Thank you all for hanging in there and for the lovely support and warm feedback I get this from this blog.

Love the look but not sure if I'd have the courage to wear the skirt. What about you? and although I don't really like the cushions on the sofa, the whole room looks great and I could easily live there...

Yesterday I worked 17 hours, yes I did, so today finishing at lunchtime, hopefully and going for run and maybe just try to relax a bit?

Hi there! hope you are well today. I will be changing some things around this blog and I would like to start with a new series YES or NO. Simple - just let me know - would you wear this outfit? would you have interior like this at home? I can't wait to see what you like and don't.
This time I have to say YES to both....

Also this good read on life balance including sweet moments with kids. I love this chair and story behind it. These birds are the cutest.

what are you wearing this spring?

Yesterday I tried to persuade Anya (almost 4) that being cool is better then being just pretty. She was refusing to wear something I chose and was desperate to wear  a pink skirt which is becoming very small but still her very favourite. It was something like that:

me: "can you wear this please?"

A: "no I want to wear this pink skirt !" ( pulling out skirt which I hid at the bottom of her draw)

me: "come on, you wear this all the time... this is (pointing at skinny jeans and in my opinion very cool top) much better, it looks really cool!"

A: " but I don't want be cool! I want be pretty!"

me: " but being cool, it's better then just being pretty........blah blah...etc.

It's sometimes hard to fight with Barbie, even if the only one we have at home is on DVD and is a surfer...so sort of cool:)

mint green + orange

There are certain colours or combinations I don't like at first but become to love later. This is one of them...but when it comes to my personal wardrobe I could probably get away with red/orange but pale green - mint green, is absolute no no for me. But it does look divide on her.

what are you wearing

this autumn? I normally stick to my uniform of navy, beige, white and black but this year I really enjoy wearing little pops of colour, especially in shoes. I bought red and mustard ones the other day, and love it...What about you? do you have a certain "uniform" or style which you stick to or are there any changes in your wardrobe this autumn?
